Put-in-Bay Cabins Rental Agreement
Both Cabins are located at: 141 Massie Drive, Put-in-Bay, Oh 43456
Check in: 3pm. Check out: 10am
You will receive check-in instructions via email 1 day prior to arrival. We like to meet all our guests at the cabin at check-in, so we ask that you text/call us at 419-285-6348 when you board the ferry. This gives us a 25-30 minute notice of when you will arrive at the cabin.
We try to accommodate early check-in whenever possible, but cannot guarantee it. You are welcome to arrive on the island early and enjoy all downtown has to offer and we will text you as soon as your cabin is ready. We like to meet all of our guests at the cabin for check-in so we ask that you text or call 419-285-6348 when you board the ferry so we have a 30 minute notice to get down to the cabin and greet you. If you arrive early we can give you a status update at that time.
Parking for the Cedar Cabin is strictly the left side of the driveway. Parking for the Massie Cabin is strictly the right side of the driveway. Each side of the driveway can accommodate up to three cars, or one truck with a boat trailer. Please do not bring extra vehicles, as there is no additional parking. Parking is not permitted in the yard, along the street, or in front of the dumpster.
Rules
Minimum age to rent at PIB cabins is 25 years old. Anyone under the age 21 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
No events or parties are permitted. No guests outside of your reservation are permitted on the premises during your stay.
Do not drive or park on the lawn for any reason, including golf carts.
Smoking and vaping is prohibited inside the cabins, cigarettes and marijuana. Ashtrays are provided outside, and a $50 fee will be charged for littering cigarette butts in the lawn. Evidence and smell of smoking/vaping (including marijuana, medical or recreational) inside cabins will result in total loss of damage deposit.
2 night minimum stay is required for all bookings, a 3 night minimum stay is required for holidays or special events (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Bash on the Bay, Labor Day). Spring Fishing before Memorial Day require full week long bookings.
Saturday check-in/check-out cannot be accommodated.
Leave the property in clean, neat, and good condition, check out instructions are available in welcome binder.
Keep the area quiet especially between the hours of 10pm-9am as to not disturb residents of the neighborhood.
All trash is to be removed from the cabin and deposited in the dumpster provided. Absolutely no fish remains shall be placed in the dumpster. Guests are responsible for disposing of fish remains at the Put-In-Bay Township Maintenance Department (624 Trenton Ave, Put in Bay, Oh 43456). Five gallon buckets with lids will be provided as receptacles.
Toilet tissue and human waste should be the only things flushed down the toilets, to prevent damage to the septic system. Trash cans are provided for feminine products and other waste.
No tents, campers, or RVs.
No pets.
Firearms are strictly prohibited on the cabin property.
No fireworks allowed.
Guests agree that maintenance personal may enter premises for purpose of repairs, inspection, power outages, and lawn care.
Guests understand the accommodations are private owned dwellings including the furnishings, linens, and towels. Absolutely nothing shall be removed from the cabins. Excessive damage to furnishings, linens, and towels will result in loss of some, or all of your security deposit.
Guests are to notify owner immediately in the event of any existing damage or any damaged that occurred during their stay.
Guests agree that if the property (including gas grills) are left unclean will result in forfeiture of all or part of their security deposit.
Guests agree to the limitation on number of persons permitted to occupy the cabin. Any violation of the limitations shall result in the forfeiture of the security deposit and rental fee, as well as, ejection from the property.
Guests agree that the owner shall not be held liable for accidents, injuries, or theft of valuables from the premises.
Outdoor security cameras installed to monitor the exterior of the cabins and the dumpster for the safety of the guests and property.
Guests agree that if they or any members of their party violate any of the terms, conditions, and limitations, of the agreements of this contract the Owner may enter the property by force or statutory proceedings. Guests who violate the Rental Agreement are subject to immediate cancellation of stay, with no refund.
Guest certifies that they has carefully read the terms and conditions set forth in this agreement and agrees to abide by such limitations.
